This film is a document to the long arc of justice. Originally produced in 2001 reporting on the trial brought by the families of the four churchwomen raped and murdered in El Salvador in 1980 against two Salvadoran Generals who had retired to Florida after the end of the civil war in El Salvador in 1992. See descriptions and clip from the film on this site. The film also includes interviews with several Salvadoran survivors of torture during the early 1980s who also brought a suit against the same Generals in the same Florida courtroom. But justice didn't end with those trials. It continued through Appeals courts, the Homeland Security and Immigration court for the next 15 years until the Generals were finally deported in 2015 and 2016.
