The twenty year saga to pursue justice and accountability for the rape and murder of four American churchwomen in El Salvador during civil war in the early 1980s. Covers the Florida trial in 2000 holding two former Generals – Garcia & Vides Casanova – accountable. Includes interviews with several Salvadoran survivors of torture who launched a second trial against the Generals in the same Florida courtroom. The outcome of their trial has led to both Generals being deported back to El Salvador. The film has been updated to reflect the ongoing legal process that led to their deportation. An extraordinary lesson in the long arc of justice.
